HOW ABOUT MAKING A CURSILLO WEEKEND?
Cursillo or “short course in Christianity” is an
uplifting and educational experience. The weekend
is facilitated by a team of laypeople and clergy
who deliver organized talks and discussions.
The presenters add the witness of their own lives– their struggles and triumphs in Christ.
The weekend is full of laughter, prayer, great music, wonderful meals, etc.

RSVP—Worcester Area Volunteers has launched its
Senior Fraud Hotline.
Senior citizens or their families should call 800-297-9760 (the HelpLine)
if they have questions or concerns about a phone call, email,
letter, advertisement, or in-person contact.
Calls will be answered by a trained volunteer
who will provide intake and referral
if a scam or fraud is suspected.

All are welcome to attend a Mass and Anointing
of the Sick, followed by a support group session to
be held in the Radiation Oncology Conference Room.
Facilitators are board certified chaplain,
Sr. Paula Kelleher, SSJ, and Msgr. Peter Beaulieu.
Registration is not required. Validated parking
is available in the adjacent parking garage
(must use Eaton Place entrance to parking garage).

SPREAD is Special Religious Development available for children, teens and adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities. SPREAD will prepare
participants for the Sacraments as needed,while giving them a sense of

MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN LIVES
J H C Hospice Care, serving Worcester and
surrounding towns, currently seeks those who like
to meet and connect with others. Volunteers bring
a warm presence with various offerings such as
readings, music, prayers or personal talents.
Volunteers make a weekly patient visit
based on their own availability.
On-going hospice team support is provided along with initial volunteer training which begins in October.

Dame Hospice is
looking for kind, compassionate people.
Volunteers can wheel patients around in wheelchairs, sit with them
and talk, read the newspaper or books to them, play games,
do puzzles or just sit quietly and hold their hand or pray for them.
Challenge yourself to do more for others and be rewarded at the same
time.
